The Diocese of Canterbury is pleased to announce the appointment of the Rev’d Canon Estella Last as the next Archdeacon of Maidstone.
On Friday 3 October, the Diocese of Canterbury marked an historic moment as Bishop Sarah Mullally, the Bishop of London, was confirmed as having accepted the invitation to become the next Archbishop of Canterbury.

This summer, our diocese has witnessed a moving celebration of faith as some of our coastal communities came together for sea baptisms.
On Sunday 28 September 2025, we licensed new Readers and welcomed them to this ministry in our diocese.
