Monday 1st June 202018:15CANCELLED - Guild of Church Flower Arrangers

Precious Moments – Demonstrator: Sue Shaw

A branch of the Guild of Church Flower Arrangers has been running in Maidstone and the surrounding area since 1984 and has proved to be of benefit to those who arrange flowers in churches of all denominations and of great interest to all flower arrangers.

Our aim is: “To further knowledge of Flower Arranging in Churches and places of worship of all Denominations”.

We have four meetings each year which take place shortly before the festivals of Harvest, Christmas and Easter and a summer demonstration in June. Each meeting is held in a different church with a professional demonstrator doing a number of arrangements in the containers used by that church, e.g. a pedestal, an altar or table arrangement and one for the front or vestibule. In addition, we have our Annual General Meeting in September.

We invite anyone who is interested in flowers to come along to our meetings and would be pleased to welcome you too. Entry fee for individual meetings is £3 for members, £5 for visitors. Annual subscription £5.

For more information, please click here.

Annual Membership fees now become due
