General Synod Elections 2021

A new General Synod will be elected this autumn and it is your opportunity to make sure your views, opinions and beliefs are represented.

Members will be part of the Church of England’s vision of becoming a younger and more diverse Church. Education, poverty, racial justice, climate change and sexuality are just some of the many topics that will be on the agenda in the coming years as our future is shaped.

Voting papers will be issued on Friday 17 September and if you are eligible to vote, you will be emailed the details of the hustings, which are taking place on Zoom.

They will be held on Tuesday 21 September at 6.30pm for the House of Clergy and Tuesday 28 September at 6.30pm for the House of Laity.
