Higher Education and Professional Bodies
St George’s House is an elegant seventeenth century mansion next to St George’s Chapel in a secluded part of historic Windsor Castle. It offers 25 en-suite bedrooms (including eight twin-bedded rooms), four seminar rooms, plenary meeting facilities – with the latest audiovisual technology – in the spectacular fifteenth-century Vicars’ Hall and excellent cuisine supervised by a prize-winning chef.
The House invites people of influence, and future leaders, from the UK and abroad to consultations on the challenges of today’s world, and encourages them to seek fresh insights and solutions. In the atmosphere and comfort of an English country house, free spirits can show imagination and originality. Current themes include leadership, ethics, interfaith dialogue, social and community questions, and international affairs; no serious topical issue is excluded.
The House organises regular Clergy Courses which offer intellectual and spiritual refreshment and develop leadership capability.
Courses and consultations are organised by St George’s House staff and by external partners. We welcome enquiries from organisations wishing to use the House for such events.
