This training module is specifically aimed at leaders of children’s and adults activities who have oversight and responsibility for safeguarding in church.
This may well include Churchwardens, Directors of Music, Organists, Choir Leaders, Home visitors, Safeguarding Officers and Coordinators, and Club Leaders .
This training course aims to develop an understanding of national and local church context regarding safeguarding practice and will develop knowledge, skills and confidence to embed safer parish leadership.
(This Safeguarding Training for Lay People : Module C2 is not designed for Clergy, PTOs or Readers. It is also not suitable for helpers and workers who are valuable in assisting in parish life and events but are not responsible for leading them.)

Participants will benefit from completing the e-learning module C0 beforehand.
Participants MUST complete the e-learning module C1. Please bring a printout of your C1 certificate and a printout of your confirmation of a place to this C2 training course.
