The Safeguarding Leadership Module C2 is required for anyone who has safeguarding leadership responsibilities or responsibility for leading activities involving children, young people and/or adults who may be vulnerable.
This may well include Churchwardens, PCC Safeguarding leads, Directors of Music, Organists, Choir Leaders, Bell Tower Captains, Home and Pastoral visitors, Safeguarding Officers and Coordinators, and Club Leaders.
This training course aims to develop an understanding of national and local church context regarding safeguarding practice and will develop knowledge, skills and confidence to embed safer parish leadership. All material is based on the Church of England National Policy & Practice Guidelines.
The C2 module is not appropriate for Clergy, PTO Clergy or Readers who are required to attend C3 . It is also not aimed at helpers and workers who are valuable in assisting in parish life and events but are not responsible for leading them who should complete C1.
