“Keeping in-step”

The annual Day for Licensed Lay Ministers/Readers.


9.45am            Arrival & networking (tea & coffee)

10am               Welcome & opening act of worship

10.15am          Keynote by Ruth Haldane, Reader Training Project Lead, Central Readers Council (CRC)

The Project involves developing new national resources for Reader training and continued ministerial development. The CRC are striving to help Readers to manage change, teach the faith, be missional on the frontline, to develop as leaders and enablers, to become a vital part of the 21st Century growing church.

12.30pm          Lunch (please bring your own, tea and coffee provided)

1.15pm            Nigel Collins, Warden of Readers asks “How can we keep in-step with these developments?”

An opportunity to reflect on this together.

2.15pm            Closing act of worship

2.30pm            End
