Date(s) - Tuesday, 23rd May, 2017
10:00 am - 3:00 pm
In the midst of active lives, where we often find ourselves thinking that there are not enough hours in the day we take time to reflect and experience how those God given hours can hold us and nurture us. The gift of the hours from the rising of the sun to its setting and on through the quietness of the night have inspired Christians through the ages. We open ourselves to how they might enrich our faith journeys today.
The day will be led by Clare Edwards, who served in parish ministry in the diocese of Southwark for 18 years before coming to Canterbury Cathedral as Canon Pastor. Clare acts as a spiritual director/accompanier, leads retreats and quiet days and is responsible for visitors and pilgrims at the cathedral.
Contemplative Space Days are open to all those serving on Church Leadership Teams both Lay & Ordained.
Numbers are limited to 30. Registration and coffee available from 9.30am. Please bring your own lunch.
Bookings are closed for this event.
