Date(s) - Wednesday, 27th September, 2017
10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Kenardington, St. Mary's
Pilgrimage takes many forms- sometimes driven by a yearning for something more, sometimes just because we instinctively have to go ‘somewhere’. Situated on the Saxon shore line situated above the Romney Marsh, Kennardington church is a rare gem offering a pilgrim space both to ‘be’ and to ‘journey’. Walking shoes recommended but optional.
Peter Ingrams, Diocesan Local Ministries and Growth Advisor, is still trying to figure out exactly why he walked 1500km of the pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostella over ten years. Space for both reflection on what an actual pilgrimage can offer to us, and space to be on pilgrimage will be offered over the course of a day.
This is a day for church leaders and those on ministry leadership teams.
Please bring your own lunch, drinks are provided.
