Date(s) - Saturday, 2nd March, 2019
10:00 am - 12:30 pm
All are welcome – that means you… and your family, friends, neighbours and little ones.
What will we do?
- spend some time in prayer listening to God and each other
- connect with each other through conversations and stories of where God is directing us in our homes and communities
- explore some resources around the theme for the morning
Our theme = Pilgrimage
Let’s re-connect with the enthusiasm of the disciples as they were on the road to Emmaus :
“Didn’t we feel on fire as he conversed with us on the road, as he opened up the Scriptures for us?” Luke 24:32 (The Message)
How do we ‘walk with Jesus’? It could be on an established pilgrimage route, or a prayer walk in your community, or a prayer journey around your church…. Or an imagined pilgrimage of heart and mind as you pray in stillness and silence… And what else?
How do we hear what God saying to us in the Scriptures? Bring your Bible or use the pew Bibles at Wye Church.
You will have time to pray in creative ways and walk a labyrinth too!
There will be opportunities for prayerful engagement for everyone.
