Date(s) - Friday, 13th October, 2017
10:00 am - 11:30 am
This coffee morning on Friday 13th October at Diocesan House in Canterbury at 10am is for PCC Treasurers. As well as a relaxed and informal opportunity to meet with other treasurers and the Diocesan House support team there will also be a chance to do some troubleshooting of any issues you are facing in your role. Please do let us know in advance (on firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are bringing a query to enable us to be fully prepared.
Places are limited to 15 people at each coffee morning so please do book on to guarantee a place.
Please be aware that there is no parking available at Diocesan House as parking here is reserved for staff with permits. The nearest Pay and Display car park is Queningate which runs along the city wall and is just 20 yards from Diocesan House. This car park costs £1.50 an hour. An alternative option is the Park and Ride which costs £3 for parking and the bus journey. There are three excellent park and ride services that serve Canterbury City and drop you at the main bus station which is only a few minutes’ walk to Diocesan House following the city wall North. The Park and Ride services operate from 7am to 7pm and more information can be found here.
This coffee morning is part of a new programme of annual events for PCC Treasurers which we are planning and which we hope will more extensively meet your training and networking needs. As well as the usual training in the summer for new treasurers which will continue, there will also be two training seminars in February to help those Treasurers who are appointed prior to the APCM – this will also be a refresher opportunity for continuing treasurers on annual accounts. There will also be two ‘coffee morning’ style events in different places in the diocese in April and October each year. The details for the events in 2018 will be shared later in the year.
Bookings are closed for this event.
