‘How do we read Scripture together?’

Speaker Revd Canon Prof Loveday Alexander

Canon Alexander will lead us in exploring the role & authority of Scripture over our common life today as Disciples of Jesus Christ seeking to witness to the world around us. After her introduction we will work together in small groups to identify questions or issues for a plenary session after lunch which will be provided for everyone who books in.

Members and visitors alike are therefore requested in advance to confirm their attendance and their menu choices by using the online booking form.  We regret we cannot provide lunch for anyone who does not book in advance.  Please mention when booking any special dietary requirements you may have.

Canon Alexander is a New Testament scholar and an assistant parish priest in Cheshire known already to those in the diocese who attended a recent Bishop’s day for Clergy & Lay Leaders.

Please kindly bring a Bible with you.

Places for visitors are limited and it is essential that both members and visitors book for this event.

Bookings are closed for this event.
