Date(s) - Thursday, 16th March, 2017
6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Archbishop Courtenay CEP
Following the two training sessions last October, the diocese is running two further Online Faculty Training sessions for those who were unable to attend last year. These are open for bookings to churchwardens and all those who have an involvement in the faculty application process. It is critical that people responsible for faculty applications feel confident using the online system so please come along to one of these sessions as these will be the last opportunity to attend.
If you attended a session last October at Christ Church Academy in Dover or Archbishop’s School in Canterbury then you do not need to attend either of these sessions as the content will be identical.
As of January 2017, the Diocese of Canterbury moved to an online faculty application process and these training sessions will look at the specifics of that process, led by the National Training Officer, Julie Patenaude. She will address how to register, how to start an application, where to find help and what happens to the applications. In addition, members of the DAC and an Archdeacon will be in attendance to answer any general faculty questions.
The details of the days are as follows:
- Thursday 16th March, 6.30-9.30pm, Archbishop Courtenay School, Maidstone – book here
- Wednesday 17th May, 9.30am-12.30pm, Godmersham Village hall, near Ashford – book here
Please note the content of the sessions will be identical – you only need to attend one of them.
There will be tea, coffee and refreshments provided. Please book using the form below. Any questions phone Diocesan House on 01227 459401 to speak to Sarah Lucas or Holly Adams.
Bookings are closed for this event.
