A look at Mark’s Gospel in anticipation of the Year 2 Lectionary Cycle. As we look at Mark’s Gospel as history, as literature and as a theological work we will enjoy an engagement with the special insights of R H Lightfoot, Austen Farrer and D E Nineham, three great British scholars from the latter half of the twentieth century.
Led by Revd Dr Stephen Laird, Anglican Chaplain at Kent University, Parish Priest at Blean and Tutor in New Testament at St Augustine’s College of Theology; and Revd Dr Alan LeGrys, former Principal of SEITE and Sessional Tutor in Biblical Studies at St Augustine’s College of Theology.
Arrival and coffee form 9.30am. Please bring your own lunch.
