Programme to include Handel “Coronation Anthems”, contrasted with the choir’s regular accompanying selection of shorter works: by Victoria (O Quam Gloriosum), Pearsall (Lay A Garland) and Bruckner, not forgetting living composers, on this occasion Cecilia McDowall (“A Fancy of Folksongs”), Morten Lauridsen, Ola Gjeilo, Phillip Cooke, James Aburn and Edward-Rhys Harry.
