As many of you will know Data Protection is changing and we all need to pay careful attention to the way we store and use people’s data. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is effective from 25 May 2018 and will affect the way clergy and PCCs collect and handle data. To help parishes ensure they are compliant with GDPR we are offering three training sessions around the Diocese, one in each Archdeaconry. This training will be helpful for PCC members, especially clergy and PCC Treasurers. The sessions will be led by Anna Drew (Diocesan Director of Communications) and Jeff Green (Diocesan Management Accountant). There will be teas and coffees provided.
