A financial awareness and planning workshop for all clergy designed to demystify personal finance issues and help you plan for the future (regardless of how far away retirement may be). The programme will include:
•Pensions led by Peter Dickinson (Pensions Board) – How your pension works, what your pension might be, how you can pay more into it, how you claim it, new options and transferring, where to find more information.
•Housing led by Wendy Tipton (Housing Officer) – Clergy housing, including the CHARM scheme.
•Financial Planning led by Richard Wood (Ecclesiastical Financial Advisory Services) – A financial awareness and planning session covering personal finance issues to help you plan for the future, including saving more for a mortgage deposit or retirement, considering house purchase during your ministry, understanding investing and making ethical investments.
•There will be an opportunity for confidential one to one conversations.
