The Finance Conferences will be an opportunity to meet Douglas Gibb, the new Director of Finance for Canterbury Diocese, and have an opportunity, ahead of synod, to understand and discuss the 2017 budget upon which parish share is calculated, including the role of Deaneries in allocating parish share among parishes, a presentation on investment management by CCLA representative Bruce Crawford (Monday 13th June conference only) and a question and answer session.

The conferences will also be an opportunity for treasurers to meet each other and share experiences and issues.  These conferences are in place of the cancelled ‘open sessions’ from Autumn 2015. All our training for Treasurers is free of charge, but we do ask that you book so we know how many people are intending to come.
