The next Environment Forum will be held on Thursday 12th October from noon – 4.00pm at St Mary Bredin Church in Canterbury and will offer help and advice on environmental issues and how to achieve results without spending a fortune.

Our first speakers are Dr David Greenfield FCIWM, FRSA, CEnv who is the Diocese of Chichester Energy Stewardship Programme Delivery Director www.chichester.anglican.org/theEnergystewardshipprogramme/ and the Managing Director – SOcial, ENvironmental & EConomic Solutions (SOENECS) Ltd whilst Father Lawrence MacLean is the Diocesan Development Officer for property sustainability issues and advisor for fundraising.

We will also be hearing from colleagues visiting our Diocese from Germany about how they manage their resources and environmental issues that they face.

The format of the day will be:

Midday – bring your own picnic lunch and spend time getting to know everyone

13.00 – welcome from Archdeacon Stephen

13.15 – The DOC Energy Stewardship Programme: overview and lessons learnt. Dr David Greenfield and Fr Lawrence MacLean of Chichester Diocese

14.45 – An opportunity to talk environment issues with colleagues from Germany and learn from them

15.30 – Q & A and discussion

16.00 – close

Afternoon refreshments will be provided but please bring your own lunch.
