The Diocese of Canterbury will be hosting an Environment Forum on Tuesday 4th October from 1.30pm – 3.30pm at St Martins Church in Maidstone.

The next in our series of Environment Forums will offer three keynote speakers:

Rev. Matthew Rushston, Precentor at Canterbury Cathedral will start the afternoon with All Things Bright and Beautiful – an opening act of worship and a talk on available liturgical resources.

Rt Rev Richard Llewellyn former chair of Anglican Society for the Welfare of Animals will continue the theme with All Creatures Great and Small – Dogs and Dogma. This talk will look at the churches relationship to animals.

Finally comes All things Wise and Wonderful. The theology of our environment engagement and available teaching resources. Dr Ruth Valerio, Churches and Theology Director at A Rocha UK

The afternoon will finish with a Q&A session with the panel and the Archdeacon of Maidstone.

Afternoon refreshments will be served and there is an option for a fish and chip lunch at 12.30 which needs to be pre ordered (pay on the day). Places are limited to 50 so register your interest as soon as possible.
