10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Seasalter Christian Centre
Have you ever found it difficult to start conversations with people that really mean something? Or ever found it tricky to know how to initiate conversations with mission at their heart that take people out of their comfort zone? Or ever wondered how you can help those around you in church, who are avoiding talking about the BIG questions, to tackle those conversations? This will be the topic of the day this September at the Creative Mission Forum and we are very lucky to be joined by Paul Griffiths, one of the authors of Table Talk – a game of conversations which facilitates meaningful discussions in a variety of contexts.
The Creative Mission Forum brings together church leaders, Lay and Ordained, twice a year to share stories, confer, encourage and support one another. It would be wonderful to see you there! Please note that you are welcome to bring other members of your team.
Our overall aim at the CMF is to build a learning network of people with a common interest in Creative Mission, Re-imagining Ministry and Fresh Expressions of church. Using resources like Table Talk can be an exciting and helpful way to approach mission and we are very excited to have secured sponsorship to enable every church who comes along to CMF this September to take a box of Table Talk away with them with only one condition – that it gets used!
We meet at the Seasalter Christian Centre – doors open 9:30am for coffee. We start the event at 10am, and we finish with lunch, provided for us.
Bookings are closed for this event.
