Gather. Listen. Encounter. Go.
The deep rhythm of the Eucharist is summed up in these four words. We gather before God; we listen to God; we have an encounter with God; we go out, sent by God. This rhythm is the rhythm of all Christian prayer, and is thus the rhythm for abundant human living. This day will offer an opportunity to inhabit the rhythm at greater length and greater depth than is often possible, and so offer an opportunity to reclaim the sacrament as the wellspring of our life in Christ. Come and be part of an extended celebration of the Eucharist, with reflective input, shared prayer, and space to be.
The day will be led by Nick Papadopulos, who has served as Canon Treasurer of Canterbury Cathedral and Director of the Diocese’s programme of training for curates since 2013. Before his current appointment Nick was a Parish Priest in central London for six years.
