Our Church Buildings: Mission or Millstone?

Speaker: Becky Clark

(Director of Churches and Cathedrals & Secretary of the Church Buildings Council and Cathedrals Fabric Commission in England

We would like to extend an open invitation to anyone who would like to come to participate in this session of Diocesan Synod.  We will hear a Keynote Speech from Becky Clark on whether our church buildings can be fit for the purposes of mission.  We will also hear examples of churches who have addressed this problem.  There will also be time for discussion and networking.

Please note our morning will commence with the Commissioning of our new Ignite Enablers.  Ignite is a new expression of church pioneered within Canterbury Diocese which has drawn into its life people from our deprived communities.  Please book following the below link to the booking form.

You will also note within the booking form that there is an option to secure hard copies of the agenda and papers on the day.  This ensures we only print the number of copies required and supports our drive to become paper lite going forward.

Please don’t forget to book and we look forward to seeing you there.

Could you car share?

Synod Members:  If you are unable to attend the meeting please kindly tender your apologies to the Diocesan Secretary using the email link here.

If you would still like to receive a hard copy of the Agenda Papers please indicate this within your email. Many thanks.

Bookings are closed for this event.
