Bishop’s Day – The Spirituality of Missional Leadership: God-centred self-definition, family systems theory and developing a rule of life – led by Rev. Prof. Pat Keifert and Canon Dr. Nigel Rooms

Date(s) - Monday, 29th February, 2016
9:45 am - 1:00 pm

The Chapel, Canterbury Christ Church University

In the midst of an anxious church where busy leaders are often stressed, where despair and burnout are never far away, how do we attend to the ‘first things first’ and find ourselves in God? How do we discover the resilience we need for the long haul in mission? Rev. Prof. Pat Keifert and Canon Dr. Nigel Rooms will present a foundational spiritual practice of missional churches, share insights from family systems theory around the importance of growing a ‘God-centred self-definition’ and explore with participants the development of a fruitful ‘rule of life.’
