ALM Ministry Top-Up Training
The ALM team are excited to launch a new rolling programme of top-up training sessions available to sign up to now! At the February ALM Update Morning in February one of the things you told us was that there was a lack of further training opportunities post-authorisation and some of you felt it would be useful to have more frequent ALM aimed events, training and networking. We are now very pleased to offer a new series of two-hour, one-off sessions around the diocese which will happen six times a year.
Planning Intergenerational Worship
A chance to explore some of the underlying values that define Intergenerational Worship in order to navigate the narrow path of change; with Murray Wilkinson – the diocesan Adviser for ministry with children and young people. Murray has been designing and leading all-age worship for nearly fifteen years and still finds it quite hard going. He has written all-age service plans for Childrens work Magazine and for the Diocesan Lent material since 2011. There are no magic bullets, no quick-fix secrets and perhaps few one size fits all solutions; but by owning some of the values of Intergenerational Worship, the path is hopefully clearer to becoming an intergenerational community, rather than just a group who happen to have different generations present.
Teas and coffees will be served on arrival and half way through the session.
These sessions are designed for ALMs but are open to anybody.
This event is fully booked.
