Events and Training

Each year and as part of the service provided to schools from their annual contributions to the Diocese, we provide a training package and various events and conferences. These are free to all that pay the contribution and charge per session for those who do not.

Cathedral Schools’ Day

Each year in November we hold our annual Cathedral Schools’ Days. We work closely with the Cathedral Education Department to provide Year 6 pupils with an experience of Canterbury Cathedral which includes an insight into some of its workings and culminates with worship.  Schools are invited on a rota basis to attend. Recently, we have introduced a system of inviting schools according to their archdeaconry. Further details can be obtained by contacting Sarah Wilson: swilson@diocant.org
