The winner:

  1. Mowing on the ‘flat’ had been a piece of cake but the ‘gravestone hurdles handicap’ was really sorting the men from the boys! – Martin Moss

  • A voice was heard in spite of the roar of the mower – “Stay put and I’ll roll over for a quick sides and back haircut, I just have to sit up level with the grass.” – Donald Lawton
