Advance Notice : Visitations 2010
Episcopal Visitation by Bishop Trevor
Wednesday 12 May 2010, 7.30pm.
Churchwardens will receive an email letter with advance notice of the Visitations for 2010. The visitations, which include the formal admission of churchwardens, are going to be an Episcopal Visitation by Bishop Trevor. This will involve one special event for the whole diocese with the churchwardens and others from both Archdeaconries invited to join Bishop Trevor in Canterbury Cathedral on the evening of Wednesday 12 May at 7.30pm.
Nearer the time each churchwarden will receive three tickets to enable them to invite two other people to accompany them to the Visitation. Please note the new date and pass on to newly elected colleagues after the APCM
With many lay officers beginning a new year of ministry, this special evening of worship and prayer will provide an opportunity to hear from Bishop Trevor as well as socialize afterwards.
