Connecting Canterbury

A place to find help and support in times of need. Whether it’s help with debt, housing benefits, finances, budgeting, mental health – or something else.

Connecting Canterbury offers access and guidance to Canterbury residents in need. Whatever the issue, their volunteers are available to listen and chat over a cup of tea and a biscuit, and they will do their best to help.

Connecting Canterbury has access to the internet and can help with form-filling – paper and online – as well as signposting to other services and organisations.

If you or someone you know needs help with energy, household items, filling in forms or signposting to other organisations Connecting Canterbury can be found at the following hubs:

When? Thursdays 11am-1pm

Where? The Hub, Canterbury Baptist Church, St. Georges Place, CT1 1UT

When? Fridays 10am-12 midday

Where? All Saints Community Larder, All Saints Church, Military Road, CT1 1LN

Connecting Canterbury is looking for volunteers for its Thursday and Friday hubs. For more details, please email Helen Netherton: hnetherton@diocant.org

Please see the Living Directory for useful contact details (hubs, churches, grants, addiction support and more).
