MINISTRY DEVELOPMENT
Ministry Development covers four main responsibilities,
which focus on supporting the ministry of the ordained in the diocese:
- Initial Ministerial Education 4-7 for self-supporting ministers
- Developmental Review
- Continuing Ministerial Development in the form of e.g. Mentoring, Workshops, training of Training Incumbents and Consultants, and the Canterbury Leadership Programme.
- AND, most importantly to reflect with others on the theology and practice of ministry such that ‘Ministry Development’ serves the diocese with something more than a programme – rather it serves by creating a framework for fruitfulness in ministry.
