The Reverend Shola Aoko

I chose to come to St-Laurence-in Thanet Team Ministry because I wanted to be part of a team minstry where I will be working alongside another Vicar to accomplish God's work. I also wanted to be part of a ministry where church structure and hierarchy are honoured, but at the same time there is room to allow something different. Also most importantantly with God's help I felt that I will be able to face any challenges head on, and minister to the needs of God's people.

At the end of my time here in Thanet, I hope to achieve the task God has given me i.e. to be his light in Thanet and show his love to his people. I also hope to further grow and develop in my spiritual walk with the Lord.

When I am not working, I enjoy reading, watching movies, spending time with my family and friends, walking and travelling.
