Archbishop Justin visited Christian social action projects and local groups in and around Dover during Holy Week, including the Folkestone Rainbow Centre, Dover Emmaus, St Margaret’s children’s church, St Mary’s youth group, foot washing in Alkham and a Procession of Witness in Dover on Good Friday. Episcopal Visitations for Churchwardens

Mission Resource Grants
Applications are now open for Mission Resource Grants for 2015. The total funds for grants for 2015 are about £120,000 and information and application forms can be found here. Closing date is June 16 2014.
Adult Protection training for clergy
Three hour training sessions on vulnerable adult protection training are being offered to clergy in April, May, September and October. The Training will cover such areas as: mental health, addiction, the elderly and people with learning difficulties. Book.
Community banks in churches
Following the opening of Kent's first community bank to be held in a church last month, advice and support is being offered to parishes wishing to form similar partnerships. Read more.
On behalf of the Diocese, the Communities and Partnerships Framework has produced a booklet 'Commemorating the Centenary of the First World War - How you can be involved' to help resource parishes with their WW1 commemorations. More information.
