Growing Forward Together with Other Churches

The vision for the Diocese of Canterbury set out in Growing Forward Together - Towards 2020 commits us as a missionary people to work ecumenically wherever possible.

Jesus prayed about his disciples with the words (John 17.21), 'that they may all be one. As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.'

Wherever we happen to be, in town or country, education or employment, there are opportunities to meet, pray, worship, work and witness together with other Christians. This is our response to our Lord, as we seek to pass on the faith to new generations at home and abroad, as part of the world-wide ecumenical movement.

Think Ecumenically: here are some ideas from Churches Together in Kent on how we can grow forward together with churches in our area.
