CMS is committed to evangelistic, holistic, world-wide mission, and works increasingly in the UK, especially at the margins of what is traditionally called 'church'.

One of the most exciting CMS programmes is the Interchange scheme, whereby Christians from around the world are invited to the UK to engage in mission here. In the summer of 2001, an international team of six Christians came to Kent for 6 months to work with churches alongside asylum seekers and refugees in Folkestone and Dover. The project continues and is just one example of how CMS can help give global mission a local expression.
