Cursillo
"Cursillo" is Spanish for "short course" It is a movement within the Church which provides a method of encouraging and supporting people in living the Christian life and sharing their faith with others. It seeks to complement other Parish and Diocesan activities.
Cursillo began in this Diocese in 1990. Now there are over 600 Cursillistas across 50 Parishes. Suitable for all adult Baptised Anglicans both Clergy and Laity who are curious, searching, discovering, growing and who are willing to take a fresh look at what the church has always taught - Good News - the joyous discovery of Christ's abounding and endless love.

Eucharist at 11.30am in the Crypt at Canterbury Cathedral. The president and preacher will be the National Spiritual Director for the British Anglican Cursillo Council, The Most Rev Idris Jones, former Primate of the Episcopalian Church in Scotland. He will be commissioning our new Lay Director Billy Hollis and our new Spiritual Director The Rev Ann Gillibrand.
The Service will be followed by a bring and share lunch in St Thomas’ Hall, Canterbury Lane.
