There are three Archdeacons in Canterbury Diocese: Canterbury, Ashford and Maidstone.
Archdeacons are senior clergy, who along with tthe Bishop of Dover, are part of the Senior Management Team of the Diocese.
Archdeacons take particular responsibility for the welfare of clergy and their families, for church buildings and for implimentations of Diocesan Priorities within the Archdeaconry.
