    Almighty and Eternal God
you came to us in Jesus to share our human life.
In his return to you send your Holy Spirit,
inspiring us to live as he lived and do as he did.
Help us to wait expectantly, openly and faithfully
that the fruit of your Spirit may be renewed in us,
in your church, in this diocese and in your world,
to the glory of your name. Amen
