Discipleship consultation morning - 27th November 2010

Lent

Churches in the diocese are invited to use the Lentern 'Confident Discipleship' to look again at the basic discipleship themes of 'come, follow, learn, change and go'. The course is designed to help groups and churches discern what is working well and what needs working on in their discipleship journeys

    Easter Monday Youth Pilgrimage

    The theme of this year's Easter Monday Youth Pilgrimage is discipleship. Young people walk from across the diocese into Canterbury Cathedral for a 12 noon start. Young and old are welcome to join us!

    Nine Days of Prayer (Ascension to Pentecost)

    During the nine days from Ascension (June 2nd) to Pentecost (June 12th) Bishop Trevor is urging all churches, benefices and deaneries to clear their diary of normal business meetings and instead meet to pray for discipleship in the diocese.

    Prayer resources will be available in March.
